thats nice to know. we did notice that with the timberwolf the feed jaws were much slower than a jensen. And timberwolf are much more complex where Jensen just have a bar for a throttle cable and a simple button on the top and knee bar on the bottom instead of 3 or more setting on a timberwolf

The difference is minimal but a tw is a far better all round contractors machiene cheaper to fix easier to fix plenty of spares etc. Jensen are the same but no jensen schliesing can touch my 24hp 575kg chipper the smallest most productive chipper i have ever used or seen remember tow weight the jensen is heavy then the tw equivalent more strain on your van clutch all day does wear them alot quicker to.:confused1:

Timberwolf is Ford; Jensen is VW. Feed rollers... Feed roller speed is adjustable on most machines... alters the stress, chip size etc.

i have used both tw and jensen 6 ich chippers and the build quality is much better with the tw- we were using a 750 kg 6 inch jensen and if im honest i found that the engine hood was poor quality and not fitted that securly at all , the key and throttle are in a daft place where by in the winter they get lagged with mud and road dirt and the fuel tank does not carry enough fuel . on the pluss side the jensen was a turdo and did chip very well (the machine had only done 60 hours) . now the timberwolf's build qhality is much better , the key and throttle are in a better place , the fuel tank holds plenty of fuel and is far easyer to opperate but sadly not a turbo and slightly slower chiping with the anti stress cutts in more often ( this chipper has done roughly 550 hours) .

i know some of you will probably not agree but i do think that a tw is the way forward unless your looking for a bigger chipper . Tw parts are cheaper and the tec's at tw are great if you have a problem .
