Hi all,

I'm new to climbing and I'm doing CS39 at the end of this month. I need a chainsaw bungee but I'm not sure what length to get:confused1:. I'm 6'3" tall. Any advice would be much appreciated:thumbup:

i get on fine with the bungee ones that have the steel ring so you can shorten them for moving around the crown. they are cheap as chips from from any of the dealers on the side banners, or even your local saw shop.

Other way for me, cant stand the bungies. Always feels like its pulling the saw back if you're cutting out far in front.

At 6'3" you will need a minimum 50" one though. Better a bit long than short in my experience.

I get on fine with the bungee strop, and have a tool clip on my harness for hanging the saw closer to me.

Anyway at your height you shouldn't even need to climb trees!

Good luck with the test and welcome to Arbtalk.
