Once you have an 88 you will find you use it far more than you are expecting to. An 066 will run a 36 bar, or at a push a 295xp husky.

 

Stihl do a 4' bar BTW. Its over £300. RobD can supply one for half that but not a stihl one if that bothers you.

what make bars is RobD selling tommer ?i need a new 4 foot bar for my 880 as one of the tards that used to work for me did the delightfull thing of bending it !!

Same her- mines worn the stellite off nearly.

 

GB bars i think- not sure now.

Get a Ball Peen Hammer and a flat surface like a Stump and hammer it straight.Unless the Bar has been folded,you should be able to do it.

the thing about the 880 is it is as you know 404. but you can get a 3/8 drive sprocket for it. the two best bars that Rob D sells are the Woodland Pro (Canon) and the GB. i have got the 50" WP and a 60" GB. the WP seems to keep cooler at the tip. i was advised once to get the biggest drive head you can then add the bars etc as you need them. works for me.

I would say its an older saw with a new tank/handle.

I ran over a 044 last year with the truck and knackered th back handle, got a new part from stihl with the new stryle cap on it.............then had it knicked!!!!
