:confused1:are you being serious ? if the hse get their own way we will all be using M.E.W.P's and climbing will be an option if you cant get a MEWP to te job . i would still much rather climb but lets be realistic if it saves time and allows you to get on to another job thenit cant be a bad thing

 

To right I'm being serious, you'd have to be using it on jobs that needed a mewp that size everyday to make it worthwhile. I just can't see it being profitable. Something like Deans mewp would make far better sense but again for the few jobs where one is needed/more efficient you can get one in with an operator without tying up thousands in capital.

 

I can't realistically see HSE Stopping us climbing in the next 20 years, beyond which point I'll be retired or dead anyway.

Would you buy yours again Dean, with a similar breakdown to how you did the chipper breakdown of costs do you find it worthwhile? Appreciate it's not an open and shut questions as some jobs you'll only have been able to do with the mewp etc...
