Good find - it's amazing how little time it takes for nature to reclaim it's place.

 

There's a bridge over a small gorge in the neighbouring estate that is so overgrown that you struggle to see it as a bridge. It has trees growing from the top, complete with badger track. I'll have to get a picture next time I am along there.

I was more interested in the bridges modular construction, you can see the pins all the way along holding the sections together and the way the bridge bows downwards with the weight

Of course me likes it.......odd? ok....me....find it interesting admiring and indeed exploring the often conflictive relationship between the manufactured and the natural environment. You....carrying around action men to give scale and an often surrealistic approach to fungal photography......mmmm kettle, black, pot spring to mind.
