I've had a few winches in the past fitted to Landys but the 12,000 lbs Goodwinch fitted to my current 110 is brilliant:thumbup1:

Very easy to hand pull the cable out and fast/quiet on the pull in.

Just take care when using snatch blocks and slings as the loads can get very large and never stand inside the angle if using a snatch block/pulley to pull around corners or to double the pull!!

If you lagg your winch wire in chain oil it helps it wind back in more neatly.

ditto that, skidding trees out of a park, had a 90degree redirect, and a timberwolf 150 chipper sitting on the inside angle, redirect sling snapped, the cable whipped into the chipper moving it 10feet across the ground sideways

When I got mine out of the box it had a KINGONE sticker on it and some spare Goodwinch stickers to put on incase the 'Kingone' hadnt been removed prior to shipping.

 

My winch is the Goldfish TDS version which I can't fault neither can I fault David Bowyer for price, shipping etc. He also gave me the wireless control that just fits inside the plastic cover under the new 'Goodwinch' sticker.

You can go wireless remote for under 25 quid on the bay

 

Leave the had wire fitted as a back up and have the convenience of standing wherever you want to.

I have owned one and fitted two for others and the only bother has been a transmitter that got stood on and fixed with gaffer tape and glue.

 

It’s mostly solid state gear so there isn’t a lot to go wrong.

 

You can’t beat cutting and controlling the pull yourself

Yep, I bought one a while back and the handset is better designed than the original. All works fine.
