The RSPCA hope one day to ban fishing.

But really they have point, its not very nice to drag a fish with a hook through its mouth or stuck in its gut. out of the water (which for a fish is the same as drowning)

Just in the name of sport.

:lol:Nice try but I think you'll find fishermen really care for the fish they catch and the wildlife around them.

Nitrogen is the best way of humanely killing

Place the squirrel or rat in an airtight container and inject pure nitrogen, the animal will die in pleasure, it puts the animal on a "High" and it dies very very peacefully, infact its almost a pleasure for the animal

I'm sure the fish really appreciates and takes comfort from that, as it fights for its life and gasps for breath.

we have decided that in future we should just call the rspca out to deal with them once trapped ,

Noooooo

The RSPCA relocated some problem urban foxes which then proceeded to wipe out 30 of my neighbours one day last week at 3 in the afternoon. Not too shy the urban fox. It’s dead now, coming back at the same time next day was a big mistake.

Good old RSPCA

Very interesting thread. Drowning is as instant as an air rifle shot and rats and greys are vermin. Swtting a wasp could be said to be cruel but we all do it. If you ever see the movie food inc. it will change your mind on what is humane or not but it didn't stop me tucking into beef, chicken, and pork so im guilty of being inhumane too:blushing:
