Mate of mine has a County Transit tipper for sale in Ireland at the minute - thats the 4x4 version. It's a '98 I think but can check. Belting motor and I'd have had his arm off for it if I'd not bought a Mk6 van a week ago as I'm taking my County van off the road for a while - off the road as in parking it up, not going offroad! I've had nothing but Transits for years including two 4x4's and honestly can't see myself ever buying anything else.

We have a 55 plate transit. Where do i begin!! It starts every morning which is always a good thing and to be honest with you it is a little underpowered especially when towing but the biggest problem is as, someone has already said, the weight limit. We can carry about 750kg in the back once we have all our tools in the crew cab and that is a big problem as you will probably appreciate it doesn't take long when taking down a tree to get that much chip in it. And you're probably thinking now that it's no problem as you won't get pulled but if you do it's points and a fine for being overweight (and i don't mean the driver!!). We had nearly 5 tons on ours once you can tell it is there but everything will go in the back!!
