is 8mm OP to small for 13mm rope?

Either 8 or 10mm seem to work fine for me:confused1: I just vary the amount of wraps/braids.:001_tongue:

Remember there are a huge amount of combos of cord/rope/climbing style/climbers weight etc.

 

Well worth having a play in your own time and getting it set right.

 

Like Matty, I leave mine on my rope once I'm happy with it.

Do very little with vt myself, I just know that 8 is recommended for 11mm and 10 for 13mm.

 

Like has been said, use what you like/works for you :001_smile:

 

(I use 13/10 combo all the time on flip lines but climb on pruss - fat old fashioned git)
