I start around 50" then adjust untill it feels right so can end up 35"...so it moves fluid on the rope but still bites this can have 4- 2 ,4-3 ,or 3-3 or what ever works best every rope and cord is different depending on size and how worn or rope core..I find once i have found the perfect set up i wont take it off for months any way so 15 mins playing around or if your not used to it evan an hour its worth finding what works best.

i found that a 4 wrap 3 braid works well on the yale 13mm ropes with 8mm OP, i prefer the security of the system over the fluidity, although its still nice to use, i can be sure it will always bite, i weigh 11st and im confident in the system, but each to their own
