Hi all,

Came across this tree at a school in Northern Ireland and urgently need an ident, has black buds although clearly not an Ash and I couldn't find a cultivar that it could be and I don't think it is Box Elder either due to the bud colour. Any thoughts welcome.

Could it be Fraxinus monophylla? It's a long time since I've seen one but the leaf looks right.

Fairly new to ID'ing & this had stumped me! leaves look acer-ish or maybe platanus ? is this a common tree i should know?
