Iphone 4

alot of people aren't having any troubles with 3gs running IOS4 BUT, there are thousands who are.

It was getting to the point where my 14 year love affair with apple was getting strained..

it was frustrating having calls drop out middle of a conversation with customers etc etc, i know someone who works for a chil call line ( a la childline) it'd cut off mid call when she was talking to a kid in a potentially dangerous situation,,, not good....

Should do what i do, stick with the old sony ericcson, does what its meant to and wont ruin your day if found to have cracked screen due to log carrying.

I've got a trusty old sony ericsson too. I'd get their new smartphone, but I haven't heard good news about them. I went into Vodafone to test one and it had cataclysmic software problems, that was enough to put me off.

I think I'm going to get one of those google HTC phones next, they're sleek and hopefully robust; the cases of most models are made of a single piece of aluminium (and a screen obviously), they're like iphones but not (which is the best bit) and I think it's good to be on the right side of Google when they eventually take over the world.

In my experience with mobiles, whenever something new is brought out its always pretty crap for the first year

had my iphone 4 for 3 weeks now and no issues

A lot faster than the 3 but my son loves it the 3 that is

as i said bob, , the issue was NOT with iphone 4 but with IOS4 on 3GS...

the well hyped media issues re iphone 4 you'd have to hold the phone left handed in a kind of vulcan death grip... no one ever holds it like that,
