where are you going to get these photo's from?

fairly sure no one on here fits that description..:001_tt2:

tWas only deano who mentioned that. Think he was dreaming again hoping to have a different sort of mucky calender in his workshop. Loves men he does.

Dean might have come up with something there though. Why not do 2 calenders? One normal with work and tree pics, and one limited edition ladies only one, it is for charity. John Hancock will offer to do the pictures I'm sure and dean will spuf...... Erm judge them.

Brilliant idea Sean...count me in! And of course, goes without saying that Clark would be happy to be a supporter of the calendar. Only thing I would suggest though is it would be best if sponsors were perhaps only mentioned on the back cover (discreetly) so as not to detract from the main purpose of the calendar. It is for charity after all.

As for content, it would be a great idea to have some Calendar Boys :001_tongue:! Some local mechanics did a calendar here and it was surprising how many guys bought the calendar (as well as the bored housewifes!). The theme is maybe a bit overplayed, but there probably hasn't been a tree related one done before. It would certainly add an angle to the calendar and could earn some extra publicity...the Children's Trust has access to media people, so they could help out there.

Definitely one for discussion at the Arb Show! (should I bring my camera??)

Just to clarify my earlier offer of sponsorship....it would have to be a classy type of calendar to have our name attached to it - nothing like above suggestion.

i think a calendar featuring nice/ interesting pictures of trees would appeal to more people, (arbs and non arbs), therefore making more money for the charity. it would also be easier to get sponsorship with a more mainstream idea.

i think the original idea of a (british native) tree for each month + facts/ mythology/ uses etc is spot on.

Sorry, let me clarify. By ladies only I meant for the ladies only. I.e harneses and ropes covering up the important mens particulars. Muscles on display etc.
