I actually thought about dong this last year and had a chat with steve bullman about the possibilty of doing it and the allowance of using the Arbtalk brand name etc. In the end I didn't have time to even think more about it but if you are serious about doing this one then I would be more than willing to help out as much as I can.

 

My idea was for the guys on the forum to post their favourite pictures of themselves "in action" (so to speak), then doing a vote on which where the best 12. The winning 12 would be the main picture for each month and the runners up would get small inlay photos in the corners etc. Try and raise awareness of pro tree work, harnesses, helmets, ropes, pulleys etc.

If you are posting pictures of butch tree surgeons in their harness's then your target audience is bored housewifes, so selling them at the show would be a failure, you then have to find a way of selling them to your target audience.

 

You could do that and sell on ebay with the right keywords you'd get the hits

 

I'd need to lose wieght and buff up a bit and you'd need to gain weight and have a face transplant though
