Tommy and Had, what length did you do the spliced AP? Just I had some spliced by our NZ friend last year. Interested to compare the length and the performance.

Top splicing.

 

She is also spending less in Sainsburys now I can rein her in a bit....

I once made one out of some 16mm double esterlon for my mums dog. Its only a lhasa apso! haha.

Very Nice work fellas. After doing that many you would have it down pack.

 

What type of splice did you use and how long was the bury?

I am interested as there is a lot of debate around on this subject, I know one splicer who is going to the extent of testing all the different splices to put this to rest for sure.

 

From my experience any splice including a Brummell is stronger then a knot, it will be interesting to see which one performs the best on the AP.
