Spoke to the farmer today. She says its ok for the meet to be at the farm, just need to give a date. A Saturday would be best i think. There is a good avenue of oaks next to a woodland that we can get to, 4x4 prob needed though. Farm is just east of Leeds at Swillington. Hope that is pretty central for everyone.

 

I think everyone should buy some food from the farm shop just as a thankyou for letting us use the place. They do great BBQ packs of food. They also have bags of charcoal, we just need to bring a big BBQ with us, anyone have one?? Anyone want to dump some chip off whilst they are there too that would be great lol, need lots to make new footpaths around the garden.

Get some pics of the trees. Decent ones. For the compeition I have in mind we need quite a specific open spread tree, doesn't have to be the tallest but doesn't want to be single stemmed. Oak, plane, beech, whatever?

:lol:It's cancelled cos Franks mum said he can't go out without a vest on and he don't wanna look like a woofter infront of his mates so the whole thing is off.....:laugh1:
