Arbclimber has invested £3K in a comfy sofa.

Jonsie has invested in inflatable seating (and thinks we all should do the same :-).

Treequip is making fun of the men who puts little flags on their cars.

TimberCutterDartmoor can't understand why we would invest in the production amd purchase of this tat (especially when there is Merlin V12's out there to be had).

Hama is off fishing.

Whats you view on football (especially world cup football).

Is it what you live for?

Are you going to shoot your TV / are you going out for a looooong long time?

Are you only interested in world cups?

I love it.

But I don't live it.

Though did take my 6 year old (first time) to Wembley for Monday nights match.

It's about balance for me, I'm more enthused & happy walking in the woods any day, but a global coming together of the world community once every four years that is about nothing more than sheer passion - Is a good thing on many, many levels :thumbup1:

Plus I'm running the sweep at work, so a few cold ones in the greenhouse watching games afterwork for a few weeks, will provide a bit of social unity amongst the usually disparate groups of Arbs, animal keepers, woodsmen & gardeners.

Come on Germany :sneaky2:

i wouldnt go as far to say i live for it but i certainly love it.especially the world cup,as david said the joining of the world for a sporting event can only be good for many reasons.

south africa would be an awesome place to be right now, maybe one day england will become the host nation.

i like to think you drew ze germans in your sweep stake david and are not rooting for ze enemy.

COME ON ENGLAND 66 was far to long ago,its time for a world cup win OR we get knocked out in the group stages.:confused1:

one game at a time i reckon and the yanks are gonna be no push over.

enjoy the buzz peeps.
