I always had tired legs until I changed to the new style Komet which offer amazing support and comfort

I've found personally that, if climbing irons hurt its because they are not fitted to your lower leg size. If they are too long, they cause paid in that boney bit below your kneecap. Too short and they hurt your shins.

I use an old pair of Bashlin forged ali's with 'stay-put' pads and they are comfortable for me. If I've been in them a few days running and they start hurting, I put some of those velcro elbow supports around the my shins and they're fine.

I've been using these velcro pads with metal inserts in for years and years. There's loads of padding and i would recommend them to anyone. I got them from 'Freeworker' in Germany , there not cheep though ,around the 100 quid mark but well worth it if it's what you do for a living.I'm sure someone will sell them over here.

Hey, a lotta people still are. At the least you outta check out some caddy pads. My velcro wraps were binned as soon as I bought my first set. Now I want some Geckos or maybe even some Komets.

geckos are the way forward but there all velcro pads just to pi$$ you off my man

Well after the bike smash.....the screws in the steel pinin in my leg fit nicely into the pad of my Buckinghams......Arrrgh, no, the spikes ! K
