Tattoos!!

i think its all about respecting other folks feelings, in domestic work we are selling ourselves and trust and doing what the customer wants. we are entering their property and if they wish not to see something that is fair enough, i dont take my top off on jobs and dont allow smoking, drinking, swearing and nonesense. If i was doing a job out in the woods then you could do or look how ever you wanted.

There might be folk out there who would rather pay a worker covered head to toe in pearcings and tats, its up to you to sus the lie of the land. maybe i am reflecting my own perceptions of people onto my customers but thats just me

Cheers guys.

I'm wanting to become self-employed and have plans to go over to canada at some in the future to work with my uncle (He don't climb).

So i think i'll just stay clear of my hands and neck as i'll most likely end up meeting customers in the future.

But again cheers

Tattos realy are not my thing I'm young and all my mates realy want one/have one I fail to see the point but that is my opinion.

I as everyone have percepted people wrongly with tattos but as has anyone else has said most 'snobby' people may well look at it you in a wrong way and when you are trying to make a good impression and most of the time first impressions are everything.

An interesting thread I think:thumbup1:

Not got any tats and in a perfect world people/customers whoever would not judge you because of them....

.... but we don't live in a perfect world. I'd keep 'em where they can be covered up. Who knows where your life could take you in the future. In this business you'll be fine but you may not want to stay in this business all your life.
