This was after running C-Cleaner; it was faster before!!

CCleaner doesn't make your connection faster, that's down to your service provider. A number of things can affect this like how many people are on a given server at any one time etc.

 

What it does is free up memory that isn't being used making your computer process the info it does receive faster. Every time you view a Youtube video it is stored somewhere as a temporary internet file. You can remove all of these manually but you may miss some. CCleaner is GUI (graphic user interface) basically a program that makes remove unwanted files idiot-proof.

This is my brand new 50mb/s cable internet.. it was up at around 16mb/s for the first few days, and then this, some scouse git (no offence) was trying to explain to me that that was in fact what I am paying for and that it's not faster broadband it's just everyone in the house will get that and it won't slow down.... git git git..... damn I'm going to ring them up again.

 

Oh, and this is quite fast compared to what it has been at!!!

has anyone any info on this, i dont really trust stuff like this on the net, a little dial telling me my computer is slow and then they want £25 for the product.

 

 

i have defragged and used easy cleaner and taken off the back and hoovered out my dust filled fan, this is the diference, i dont get it

You gotta love Virgin/Telewest fiber optic cable! I am on the most basic package and it's quick enough, even when I was on half a meg it was still speedy.
