22k was what my starting rate band was as a crew forman after 6 months trial 23k then 2 years later i was on 25k no work truck for getting to and from work tho. That was for running a crew of 4. No H&S the Supervisor did all that and holiday times etc.

you may be more on the button there, without being rude does it not seem that the older we get and more battered, we look for that role of foreman and accept that its purely prolonging the career in the industry, the wages probably reflect it to,how many times do you see companies with 4-5 gangs out offering such roles with large salaries,

IMO Probably around 20k.

 

doesnt sound a lot - but more than a similar role in retail (ok - not quite got the dirty and dangerous factor)

 

but thats also assuming that you are the foreman and responsible for onsite duty nothing else

 

I would laugh in their faces being offered 20 k even for a groundies job!:thumbdown:

Dont mean it offencivly or anything. From the little I have heard of what people pay groundies on here I think wow thats a great wage. Some people would love any job earning 12k minimum wage.

 

Like I said not saying it funnily but thats a very good wage for a groundie:001_smile:

35k ? i wish.more like mid 20s although with bonus can boost it plus a work van.

 

iv 14 years in the business and have a good rep as a climber.

 

maybe i am on the right money,its just hard to judge ie dont want to be greedy but want the right money while im in my "prime".

 

probly what everyone wants i know.
