Won't be long beaver, and then you'll be a proper tree geek like the rest of us. :icon14: :wave:

 

I nearly crashed the car the other day, not looking at girls, looking at a fricking tree!!

 

hehe, yeah i know, in just over 3months, ill be a tree geek, hehe.

 

and haha, nearly crashed the car looking at trees, that made me laugh.

And another one...

 

So-called "life belt" at Merrist Wood. According to Guy Watson, the instructor of the Professional Tree Inspection course, who had put the Resistograph through the belt of this particular one, the wood was sound as. Loads of oak trees on campus had these, they're thinking it's genetic. That is, the tree people are thinking. The trees probably couldn't give a toss.

Stood under that one last November on the PTI with Guy, it had what looked like old Armillaria caps on the building side.

Too far gone over to make positive id on which Armilaria it was though.
