Did some in a former 'now dead' Beatle members garden last yr.

 

Amaizing wrk to do but alot of secuter wrk! From mem we spent 2 days on one 35'' yew over a lake.

 

You talk about bing a sales man! most important & very impresive after 15 or more yrs of the same co starting & continuing to perform this wrk..

Sounds really interesting Andy, cant wait to see the photos.

 

Still dont know if its going to happen, the Landscape Architect was supposed to meet on site on Saturday, but didnt show. Knowing the area where the tree is situated will have some sort of work done, I "crown-cleaned" the tree so I could assess it better, and also the mess is out of the way before the landscapers move in. Also top-dressed the root area with soil improver to give it a bit of a feed up. Now I just have to wait for the Landscapers decision.:001_rolleyes:

I have a lovely book by Jake hobson, 'NIWAKI, Pruning, Training & Shaping Trees the Japanese Way'. It's a lovely art form. Google NIWAKI to see Jakes work.
