In some places you can click 3D, put on your glasses and hey presto the trees jump out of your screen .

i don't see what the problem is reg plates are visible anyway its not a private thing ?

anything visible from google street veiw is visible to the public anyway

 

I agree with Dean.....you see no more than you would walking down the road

Except, of course, when your landy is parked outside your mistress'es house, and your wife finds the evidence on Google Street View. That is, I think, why Google blurs faces and license plates.
