yikes 19 dollars, must be very well built lol, does the chain stay on the saw?

 

Yeah, the chain still does the cutting, the prongs will just hold it still while its cut, instead of all the thin bits being pulled towards the saw body.

looks like a reasonable idea...

 

only for electric saws tho... would eventually kill a proper saw, saw carbs are not jetted to be run like a hedgetrimmer... revving away without a load on em

 

I would only use it on very woody hedges, Laurel, Hawthorn and the like, so there would be a load.
