What oil and chain oil?

Just brought my first stihl 020 chainsaw what is the best oil for this saw. We used huskys at work

Obvious really!! But I didnt know if there was some better stuff out there for it to run on

i have found rock oil's chain oil is good and two stoke stihls stuffs good

I have no preference, but have always used Stihl, Husqy, Oregon or Millers 2 stroke, in no particular order.

 

Never ever had any problems with those brands.

 

Just use whatever's a good price at the time.

 

Pretty much the same for chain oil, maybe a few more brands from the major oil suppliers.

I use the husky two stroke in my 460 and the Stihl bio...

Aspen in the Fuel Tank,Rape Seed oil in the oil tank is what we use.

The green stihl 2stroke oil, i forget the proper name for it. Dont usually use stihl chain oil as it costs a fair bit, i just buy whatever chain oils avalable at the time.

Some make of synthetic 2 stroke mixed at 50:1 bought in 25 litre tubs, reasonably priced but good stuff:thumbup1:

 

And a 45 gallon drum of some make of chain oil that does exactly what the stihl/husky oil does but at a much cheaper price.
