Your ideal lowering kit.

personally i think that it depends on your requirements of each job . today we have used both the light weight lowering kit and heavy weight lowering kit on the same tree and in some cases we have ben using both at the same time - the heavy lowering kit was taking the weight and the light lowering kit was being used as a break to stop the massive swing frow where we were lowering to the anchor point . to do this we used almost every piece of lowering kit we have . im now looking into getting a bigger and heavyer lowering kit because we realy have had to push out current heavy lowering kit to its limmits.

I agree, its just not a one size fits all kind of thing is it.

 

it doesnt happen often but when it does it pays to have a comprehensive armoury of rigging tools.:thumbup:

Nice one targettrees, sounds like a really good setup. Hope you can get some pics of it in action!

 

I'll see what i can do. Got a couple of pics of me playing around with it a couple of weeks ago (only small stuff) using the isc pulleys, rigging plate, some small strops and lowering off a fig 8.

 

When i get the whole kit out next i'll photograph it all (big blocks, slings, etc) and stick it on here.
