I'm thinking about levelling my yard which is on a slight slope, I think it is shaley soft rock with a foot or so of clay soil on top.

 

I basically want to take the spoil from the top and dump it below to average out the slope, the area to be levelled will be about 40m x 40m plus theres a few hundred ton of spoil to pull out and level across

 

I was thinking of getting in a big 360 for the day but need to weigh up the costs. Does anyone know the costs for a 360 and local transport to and from site

i pay 450 a week for a 13 tonner, delivery depending on distance generally 100 quid each way

dean, you may need planning if your altering the lay of the land ? taking on board how planners think !

Plannings a pain in the butt, I might just request a site meeting and tell them what I intend to do with the area and ask what plannings I need for log storage, barn, polytunnel, chip storage etc etc
