I don't reckon it would work with the Bashlins.

 

The Velcro pads would get in the way of the saw handle.

I got one last week ,evan though i only have worn it for one pruning job rereducing a large tpoed cherry,i have to say im anoyed at my self for dismissing it for years as another gimmick as its bloody awesome,made continual hand saw work a breeze.

I dont think any ony would regret buying one.

I would like em to make an attachment to slip in my felcos now though!

I've had mine for about 18 months as well, it's great no worries here apart from the rectangles again. If you expect it to happen it's no drama to hold it straight while you tighten the straps.

Felco make a triangular holster which clips into Silky scabbards real easy.

 

 

So the Felcos sit in front of your Silky scabbard.

To stop the saw falling out when upside down, tie a short piece of string to connect the handle to the scabbard strap which would normally fit onto your harness. Then it stays in all the time, and all you have to do is simply unclip out of the scabbard.
