Hamas big reduction/pruning thread!

Lime reduction from today reason for deadwood was the landscapers had severed the roots so the tree is in fast decline, customer wanted to keep it so I done all I could do with it, hopefully it comes back well!.

Being a lime it will be fine:thumbup1:

 

you done a good job on that, kept the nature of the level of reduction discrete, a pollard of aesthetic form is what I would call it.

Thanks Hama, your work is incredible not done many reductions myself mainly fells but hopefully one day I will have the eye you have the more I do the more confident I get.

 

Thats all ya need, plenty of practice, going on that lime youll do fine.

this is my first post of a reduction because you all so good! this was a nice oak we did today two climbers, took about 4 hours to complete was ok apart from no room the other side because of a car port and conservatory, but we had done it about 5 years ago so not a huge amount to come off, just 6 foot all around, good job i took this pic, i hadn't noticed that bit on the bottom left until i stud this far back haha

nice and natural, great shape too, TP 200 is a great chipper aint it.

thanks tony and scotty, yea the tp is great chipper, i actually prefer the side entry, it was a good buy, by the boss, I'm gone be honest i was impressed with the other climber, even though his side took quite a bit longer, he is still at collage and this was his first biggish reduction.

then he is going to be a fine climber with some exerience the speed will come too:thumbup1:
