Hamas big reduction/pruning thread!

Recommended Posts

They might not of survived. BUT... They didn't NEED to be managed ... essentially trees don't NEED to be pruned, we need to do it in some instances to prolong the life of a beautiful organism

Rob,

And that's why we don't have any veteran trees or trees over 350-400 years old at all in my country :sneaky2: .

Gerrit, I'm not disagreeing with you:001_smile: just trying to put my opinion across..

Trees don't NEED to be pruned, human intervention can help and prolong the life of some trees in some instances BUT trees in the remotest parts of the world manage fine without our help

Phoenix or Halo trees created through their own degredation can survive without our help

We prune trees to make these organisms suit OUR needs most of the time, whether that be for health and safety or planning like dean stated

Trees existed before us, they shall exist after us:biggrin:

EDITING David??:confused1: Did i miss something:lol:

Rob,

1. Neither am I and so do I.

2. ... and best without us : even a crack in the pavement can facilitate the development of a forest.
