any1 got any picture from inside cannopy to give different views .

 

ive done a ew reductions , mainly to trees that the owner wanted removed but i turned there thinking around - the last did was a sycamore , my wife who was groundy says i took more than 30% but i feel i didnt , but its hard to guage at my early arb stage

 

the end product was a tree that didnt look to much like it had been touched , ok shape , down in height and sides to small as possible pruning cuts and of course , still standing

 

unlike the roundovers i keep seeing - so if im honest , anythings better than those

You sound like you've got the right idea mate. Dont be afraid to post pictures of the reductions. Everyone is pretty good at giving constructive critisism on here!

Dont do many reductions and i thought may as well get abused on here and post some up. Think trees are protected as were given a spec from the tree officer of 6m down and 2m in, but i expect it will be down in a few years. I probably came in a little more but some lower limbs were quite long and felt with the amount coming off the top would look naff.

The job looks okay but id be a little wary of the job spec if i were you. The council specified a certain amount coming off, You have to remember that the tree is diseased and the spec wasnt based on asthetics but for the trees health. By you taking more off you most probably created bigger wounds. Im only giving my opinion, nice job tho.
