yep it comes in 20ltr drums, i think i paid nearly £80 for the last one i had two months ago

 

Seems about right seen it going for nearly 90+vat. Have you tried the Plant Oil bio oil. It's good stuff much thicker than the bioplus not sure on the cost. I tend to use tesco veg oil for day to day use proper saw oil on the big bars and on the Alaskan Mill.

trip to buxtons next time then, normally try and avoid going to shops with lots of shiny things, will save £30 on oil and spend it on something else :)

I've just spent 120 quid on the Buxtons website. Their Bioplus is listed at 95+vat on the website.

any problems using motor oil/veg oil on your chains? Just thinking about temperature and viscosity. Isn't veg oil too runny? Dose it stick to the chain well? Cheap engine oil has been working for me great, prob not as good as branded proper oil, but its cheap.

whats that got to do with chain oil?
