i'm looking at buying a chainsaw. At the moment ive only had a go with a few different saws, ive also asked a couple of people of their views on which is the best ground saw. From what ive tried out myself and taking in concideration of other peoples opinions i have chosen to go for either a Stihl MS 260 or a Husqvana 357 XP. Have i made the right choise and which should i choose?

Pretty fond of the 357 as my all round ground saw would not mind the 346, borrowed one for a while to run in for a friend nice saw but the extra power of the 357 would sell me another before I buy one!hate the ms260's though!the 361 would be a far better choice if you fancy stihl.

Used the 372 in smaller hard woods today and had to switch back to the 357 after about 20mins wich makes me think buying another larger saw would be a mistake and a smaller one a waste of time!
