He needs a shredder but wanted a chipper. A colleague got a tad excited and off we went! I had been told that they would have good stuff to chip but their idea was different from mine! But, when you could get to feed that shite in, it went well! Blades goosed in the day though..... you should have seen the blades and pads from his percolator! Wrecked and bloody expensive!  Twice the price of ours!

It's a green waste tip for tree surgeons etc how else is it meant to be piled?

Exactly, they pay to tip and it all gets chipped into biomass.

In all fairness he wasn't that negative about the chipping ability.

It was more the feed mechanism needed a more grab friendly setup that's more aggressive and funnels anything into the feed rollers.

Which isn't a surprise as he's a Italian pezalatto from David the Haycaps guy.

Didn’t know that, assumed it was brought in from a job and stacked. I saw another vid of an apparent site clearance they were chipping up and it looked a similar shitfest.

Some tree lads dump chip there too, but it is usually really stringy and he re chips that!

One of his videos, was about mending chipper once a hammer head went through it. Re chipping is a waste of time I would of thought just put it on muck heap and spread it later.

I am surprised you took a chipper there.

Does he screen it first and just rechip the oversize?

Is there also a shredder in his yard? Can’t imagine chipping stuff ‘tree surgeons’ have tipped unchipped - a good way to wreck a machine quickly!

The deal was that they got proper stuff in but alas, it is  tip site! One that had various chip truck, 4x4 and trailers dump and go.
