Hope it feels better soon Ace.

at least it didnt stick in there,

when i was 18 i was grinding the bumper of my car, had saftey specs on and somthing flew up into my eye didnt realy bother me at the time.

Woke up the next day in agony and my eye was really swollen, went to a&e and they put the yellow stuff in and said there was somthing stuck in my eye, assumed it was metal and tried to get it out with a monster magnet over my eye.

No joy then the thing that gives me nightmares to this day, some more yellow stuff then my head held down and told no to blink while the doc poked and proded my eyeball with a needle like you would a splinter, turned out to be a bit of paint.

Nasty hope it gets better soon.

I had a small piece of metal hit my eye last year, the day before Christmas eve. Spent the evening at A&E where after lots of painful prodding the told me they snapped it and pushed a bit of metal into the eyeball, could I come back the next day to have me eye drilled to remove it!

I did and it was pretty gross but not as bad as the drops that dilate your eye for 48 hours so it can heal. Worst headache ever and looked weird as hell.
