Possible water shortage Leeds/Mossley

Any way, my water authority pension kicks in next April. Not sure if I'm pleased  about that or not.

One of my mates who worked in the water industry banged on about that a bit. Surely new build houses could have some system that uses rain water, waste water from the shower sink etc to fill up the toilet.

Some do, rainwater harvesting for those very things make perfect sense, if they fail the mains water kicks in. Remind me why all new builds don’t have solar panels fitted? It's almost like successive government's don’t want us to have green energy!

Dunno about the solar panel thing. The only experience I have of solar panels is that my parents had it fitted years ago and they hardy get any money back from it. Its broken a couple of times and each time it seems to cost a grand to sort it out which wipes out any savings that they have made over the previous years.

They are old and probably being fleeced but that's not my problem
