Looking at the Cast 825D, Norcar a6226, or  Avant 600 series.

I've used Norcar and Avant quite a bit but never a Cast so any opinions would be useful

Cheers

I love my Cast Worky Quad, amazing little machine.

Not sure about the bigger stuff though.

The 825 looks to have 1/4 tonne less lifting capacity than the Avant 600?

I wouldn’t spend any money listening to people talking shite on here.

It’s a big investment.

I’d get a trial on all 3.

You’ll know within an hour or two which is going to suit you best.

I'd also find out which dealer has the nearest support network to you also ...some fitters are miles away and also charge a stupid callout fee .. and a hourly rate , getting wearing out spares easily is also another problem... also has either one got a better option -like hydraulic oil cooler ...sound stupid but if the oils getting too hot you'll end up with weepy rams and that's down time ..

I quite fancy a play with their battery electric one, it would be great for liberating fallen timber from the open space across the road.

What is the legality of using one on a public road, does it count as a pedestrian controlled machine?

I fully agree. Add multione to the list also.

I have an 8.4sk, it’s been good. Good value for money- will lift 1400kg+ with the back weights, but it’s a basic 26hp engine so no dpf issues, very economical to run and cheaper to buy. Still has two speed travel. An excellent machine for lifting and shifting.
