That is what I have for mixing my fuel and 2 stroke in the correct quantity.

But the Husky Petrol side is for Petrol, and the Oil side is for Chainsaw Oil.

What I am trying to explain is how do I mix the Petrol and 2 Stroke with the Husky?

I don't think you can. So it seems I would have to mix the fuel with the 2 stroke in a separate container and then add it to the Husky.

FFS !  Put the appropriate amount of 2t oil directly into the combi can . Take your combi can to the petrol pump and squirt the petrol in untill you have 5ltrs in total . The squirting in the petrol onto the 2t oil will help mix it . Simples .

Damn it, I was going to then suggest hand tools only. But maybe we're heading down a road where he'll have to chew through the timber like a beaver, health and safety and all that!.

Hi, I need to get a new can and I have been looking at the Husqvarna Combi Fuel Can 5 Litre.

I already have a mixing can for my fuel where I put Fuel in One Side, and the 2 Stroke in the other, and shake it to get my fuel mix in the right ratio.

But from what I can see about the Husqvarna, it looks like the fuel side is only for fuel,l and the other side is only for Bar Oil.

That's ok, but that means I would have to premix my fuel first before I put it in the Husqvarna Fuel holder.

Is that correct, or have I got it wrong?

I suppose I could add 5L of petrol and measure out the required amount of 2-stroke and put it in the petrol side of the Husqvarna.

Thanks

Should you even be near a chainsaw?

4 pages in a few hours. I did not read the other pages

!

Combi cans are shit, just makes it harder to pour, also the auto spouts are shit ( if you have one fail open, you have a mess)

Standard tall petrol can, only fill to 3L and 60ml oil. Any higher and its a pain to pour. Also keeps it fresher. Get two cans if you need more fuel!

Oil I like to keep in a reused detergent bottle - HDPE and wont leak, sensible size. Wide mouth for pouring back in. Very easy to pour without spillage.

Put the oil bottle in with your maintence bag. Old chainsaw lanyard or accessory/prussik  cord on the fuel can for easy carrying.
