Hello

I am hoping this community can guide me.  I have a lot of chainsaws as my late father was a tree surgeon for 50 years. It has now come to the time when my mother has asked me to do something with them rather than let them rot.

i am planning to sell a Sach Dolmar 166 for starters but I have zero idea of it’s value and there are NONE for sale anywhere for me to get an idea of it’s value.

does anyone have a suggestion of the value of this saw please. Thanks in advance!

As above, rarely less than 4 figures now unless complete wrecks.

I sold a bit of a wreck , not seized but could not get a spark can’t remember what I got for it but was surprised… always wanted a running one but could not get parts for the one I had.

I collect classic and rare chainsaws. If you want to pm me i can give you an idea of value. But condition can be more important than rarity. I may be interested in what you have to add to my collection
