Dolmar 166

Hello

I am hoping this community can guide me.  I have a lot of chainsaws as my late father was a tree surgeon for 50 years. It has now come to the time when my mother has asked me to do something with them rather than let them rot.

 

i am planning to sell a Sach Dolmar 166 for starters but I have zero idea of it’s value and there are NONE for sale anywhere for me to get an idea of it’s value.  
 

does anyone have a suggestion of the value of this saw please. Thanks in advance!

They are rare , most are in the hands of collectors but they go for good money.. say around 1-2k depending on condition

As above, rarely less than 4 figures now unless complete wrecks.

Thank you that’s very helpful it started after a couple of minutes of trying having not been turned over for a decade so it’s in good nick

If I can possibly ask you all for a rough idea on a vintage dolmar cc and a Stihl 075 av electronic as well that would’ve amazing

I sold a bit of a wreck , not seized but could not get a spark can’t remember what I got for it but was surprised… always wanted a running one but could not get parts for the one I had.

@shavey needs a mention if Dolmar 166 is being discussed, he might not buy it but will probably know someone that would.
