Looking to get a 2021 tipper crew cab but unsure the payload on ones looking at any help appreciated.

 

Ford Transit (2020) 2.0 350 EcoBlue Leader RWD L3 Euro 6 (s/s) 4dr

 

2021) 350 LEADER FWD L3 SRW DOUBLE CAB TIPPER 2.0 ECOBLUE 130 BHP

If you’re concerned about staying legal you should probably steer clear of a crew cab as you’ll be fighting a losing battle. By the time you’ve put an arb body on you’ll be lucky to get a cube of wood chip on legally

Used to have a sprinter 316 and that was superb but the wheels didn't look great when fully loaded so was thinking double rear wheels could be better

You are right, but the 3.5t is the most popular truck to use for tree work for little domestic jobs. 

There's a lot of people how just can't go down the HGV route, like myself I get around it by running a couple of ifor williams trailer to take the weight off truck.
