That’s hardly an attractive proposition for anyone is it?

’Oh great, I can pop my nuts lifting and delivering a massive log to a total stranger for absolutely f-all.

Brilliant.’

Might find the phone book out also and give some of the local tree surgeons a call. If you are lucky or make the right offer (beer, cake, petrol, cash) you might also get a load of logs delivered if you can take them as well

Hi doug, only just seen your message, log place online not far from myself,  called them they said they don't have any stump, trunk,

Called a lot of place this morning as well as emailed a few all with no joy.

Just have to go in to place near me, or even thinking building something with railway sleepers

Building a block should be quite easy, and effective I think. Lengths of timber, (4 x 2 and bigger, e.g. sleepers), glued/screwed/bolted together then turned on end.
