as others have said, flush tank , rinse and change filters to be on safe side

Might aswell fuel lines too as only cheap and we don't know age of machine

If all the above has been done, why would he want to do it again, but I have known dealer to say it's been serviced and not had a spanner put near it.

It's the elephant in the room. Can't trust no one nowadays.... 

 

Might be worth run the tank low and get a little camera in there for a look maybe?

It’s definitely been serviced, oil and filter is all new. It’s a 2016 machine for reference. It’s out tomorrow so I’ll see how I get on. As suggested I’ll let it run low on diesel and have a look in the tank, will get another inline filter and some fuel hose as change those and see where that gets me. I’ll report back when I know more, thanks for the help
