Felling tongs?

Used one in the past, it was an adapted hand tongs, with one of the pivot rivets removed an replaced with a long bolt. The bolt allowed pivot to move but would let tongs sit on top of some saw poles to let you carry/ balance it to place onto tree. It was a bit rough and ready but worked well on the occasions we used it.

Anybody know where to get some and the pole ...

Don't know the costs involved for that specific pole, but it's possible you could cobble something together quite easily out of a clipstick intended for sport climbing.

Edit:

Like this one which telescopes to 6.5m

An incredibly long clip stick - an absolute beast of a pole. It extends from 113cm to 648cm.
