Interesting. How does it cut compared to 1/4 picco on saws like the 2511t, 151t, 161t?

I'll be honest and say I've only used 1/4 pitch on the MSA200 and the Echo. The Echo was running 1/4 1.3mm at the time so not a fair comparison. The chain was great on the MSA200, although fiddly to sharpen

What doesn't make sense?

1/4 1.3. Does that exist?

Does gand mean 3/8 low profile 1.3 or 1/4 low profile 1.1?

1/4 1.3 is what Husqvarna use on their polesaws and the T525. The Oregon chain code is 25AP.

I find it hard enough to sleep soundly with 24” and 25” both existing.

@Rob D. What was it you were doing to simplify bar and chain choice? Making everything multiples of 5” or 6” would help me sleep better. In time, multiples of 10cm no doubt. When we old imperials have died and America measures only in roentgen.

Yep we are sort of there in that - it's trying to finish it off as the admin is massively tedious, we have a new website coming and.. it's hard to promote it but you'll never now change what the different manufacturers do as far as their product range is concerned..

We have the Tsumura in 3/8 lo pro where all bars should match drive link counts across all manufactuers.

ie (we have 10"-18") so Echo 12", Husky 12", Stihl 12" -all carry the same chain (and each chain is even and has equal left and right cutters without a double left or a double right).

So if you run different saws you carry the same chains for each length of bar.
