Now I can’t see the other side of the fjord, it’s a white out.  Dumping with snow.

 

Just about to go up to the hunting ground and see if I can bump a few deer with the dog to drive them towards a mate who is sat their freezing on a post.

Snow dog.  In her element.  Didn’t manage to bump any Roe deer but found plenty of moose tracks.

 

A good walk in the woods is better than no walk in the woods.

Nice. Another good day beating yesterday. Nearly had a chase. Dropped the lead to let him under a fence while I climbed through it. Hare goes at that exact moment. Grabbed it just in time.

How long’s your long lead, Rich? I assume the slippery plastic type that they can drag around?

15m long.  It isn’t one of the plastic ones as they tend to crack as the temps can get so low here.

 

It is pretty much the same as a Lyon tape sling.  With a reflective strip stitched into the middle for visibility at night by the cars.

 

Wtf am I on about?  😜
