Someone give me some advice, I’ve taken some work that’s a doddle, it’s a bit of spanner work that I’ll do during the day, I’ll do the nights if I have to, basically it’s looking after a treatment plant on a shity rendering factory but 90% is babysitting, keep it out of high level and in compliance to discharge, average 42 hours a week, can’t get anyone to team up with me at £200/shift, I’ll pay more for the right person it could be close to £50k a year for the right man/woman, for doing long shifts but 4 on 4 off, when you take paid holidays into account it’s about five months graft a year. As said I’ll push the money a bit, but there’s no takers which, at the moment leaves me doing 84/week.my head is banging.

Yeah, 84 hours of work a week will probably kill you fairly sharpish.

My head is spinning, but I’m sat here doing zilch on half decent money. It’s an awful place to work but it’s only looking after the treatment plant. Keep it in fine tune it’s about 4 hours graft on a 12 hour shift. For not bad money

Where is it mate?

You’ve got a big network on tap here.

We all know people who know people.

Night work will kill it for a lot of people, even on decent coin, but it will suit someone.

Apart from being reliable, what do they need?

Staffordshire Moorlands, just outside Stoke/Leek, it’s a god awful place that stinks to high even, but I can pay someone decent money and we get a takeaway in at night that I’ll pay for, work days sort your own food. Clean set up for when they leave, shower block, washing machines all in work time. Ideally someone who can be left alone with a bag of spanners, the rest I’ll show them,

And preferably bald, it's the sort of stuff that sticks to hair.

It’s awful, even the office staff shower and change clothes before they leave. I wouldn’t try to dress it up any other way.

The worse thing is it sticks to your nose hair for days, it's worse than sewage FOG.

It's like that burp where you can smell the stench of that last terrible meal.
