Wow can't believe you lot. In all my shooting and not done any for a long while and maybe not as much as some of you may have done.

But. .... 177 all day long man! Bisley magnums pack a hell of a punch. Lot flatter trajectory.  Can't believe people still mess about with 22.... or even .20 for that matter.

I was always a single shot man. (But had some multis)

Had allsorts aa s400, daystate air rangers, rapid 17, bb s10, logun sweet 16, falcon fn12 bloody all sorts!

My personal favourite bsa hornet .177 with the mmc cooking system. Regulated rifle mint!

Do some reading up mate, airgunbbs etc.

.177 is where it's at out to 40 yards head shots no worries with practice

.177 for me too. I have a Weirauch HW100KT which is spot on as far as accuracy goes. I’ve found it a nicer feel than the AA S410. It takes a 14 round mag which is enough for an evenings shooting. Never had any issues with stopping power as the accuracy allows consistent head shots. Like most things, calibre will be a personal choice through personal experiences.

It clean air as it's oil free, filtered, moisture removed and suitable for dive use.

It's a tank at 300 Bar, can't remember if it's 12 litre tank or larger but I'm not risking my life with anything holding that amount of compressed gas without testing.

Sorry I thought we were talking about filling a pre charged air rifle as opposed to breathing it .

It is for rifle use, moisture and not scrupulously clean are big problems for any air cylinder.

It's worse for anyone that uses a hand pump due to the heating created during the pumping. But compressors accumulate water and rust from the inside out.

If I'm spending that sort of money on a PCP, I'm not going to be a cheapskate.

I used to have a dive bottle for refilling when I did a bit of competitive field target shooting.

Now I live more rural and find it more convenient to use a pump (mine is a Hill's Mk5). If you are only shooting a few dozen pellets at a time, a decent quality stirrup pump is a nice steady workout. I pump 20-30 times, then leave it a few minutes to save the pump (and me !) from getting too hot.

The dog goes into hiding when he sees the pump - doesn't like the noise when I let loose the air from the filling tube.🙂

.177 is my choice. Head shots only, placed between eye and ear.

I have had a dive bottle full of air since 2006, I expected to use it for blowing off saws on site but never did, can they be re certified?

I cleared out the flat of a son of my late girlfriend after he overdosed. The police had purloined the air gun.

If anyone wants to collect it I'll let it go for a small donation to his brother's 4 year old son whose dad died of leukemia earlier this year
