Subby climbers & groundsman near Jedburgh and surrounding areas

Looking for contacts for any sub climbers or groundsman located near Jedburgh or surrounding areas. 
 

not looking for folk willing to travel as could be a days work or few days

 

I relocated my business here a 2 years ago and now works picking up so need to branch out 😆 and meet local tree folk

Afraid not. Know a good few others around in the same position as the op that are looking for workers but apparently not easy to find folk.

If it'd been a few weeks ago I'd have been in touch for a chat myself but just started a trial with another member here.

I've been to Jedburgh quite a few times, used to have a machine in the coat hanger factory but COVID was the final nail and factory closed down couple of years ago.

 

It's four and a half hours away though so no help to you. I do know it's surrounded by miles of rugged countryside, or pretty much the middle of nowhere.

Mainetti’s for the coat hangers. I used to service there machines when I was on the spanners etc. My first job fabricating was a 2 story staircase for the bit in Jed. 
 

@Dr.Green seen your ads on FB. I am no tree surgeon or groundsman but I do work with climbers. 
 

They’re 200-250 per day though for climbing I know that for a fact.
