I think it wouldn't be a bad idea if they sent all trainee gritters and snow ploughers to Scandinavia for a few weeks in winter. It's not rocket science and living with ice and snow is something people just do for 4-7 months a year (depending on how far north you are).

So they could learn on the other side of the road and get into the habit of angling the blade the wrong way thus flinging tones of snow into on coming traffic?
